Hey guys,

Has anyone been or had a wedding at Glen Ewin Estate? We're thinking of booking it (The Gatehouse) for our ceremony and reception.

It all looks and sounds good, but it would be nice to hear some experiences.

Thanks.

Hey Katey

Glen Ewin is a beautiful reception venue, I have covered many weddings there, here is a link to a recent wedding and a few images of the Gatehouse.

Best of luck for your day.

Hi Katey

Im having my wedding there in Feb but we are having it in the pulp shed. I think it is beautiful and I love where it is - just out of the suburbs but feels like you are right up in the hills. Emma is fabulous too - she has been so helpful. I can't say we went there for the price, but the place is just amazing.

Hi Katey!

Have read a few of your posts & it sounds like we may have fairly similar tastes & requirements in the planning process Smile

We have booked Glen Ewin for our wedding using their partner caterer who will be doing an 'Asian Inspired' banquet for us.
We tired of trying to find an acceptable balance between asian 'specific' caterers, venues that weren't (in my opinion) ugly halls & had catering facilities, & costs that didn't break the budget!

Anyhow, I just thought I'd say Hi , & say I'd be more than happy to share the things I've found with you, eg if you are looking for asian inspired favours that aren't too tacky Rolling Eyes lol

Hope the planning is going well!

Cx

We have also booked there in Feb and have heard fantastic things about the place ever since. They hold a winter warmers lunch there every now and then and have one coming up in August, Sunday the 22nd if you like curry. You have to book in but it might give you some more time to go and have a look and get a feel for the place. Its all done in the Gatehouse.
We love the spot! Having ours in the Pulpshed, it was exactly the sort of look we were after, and the picutre opportunities there are fantastic from what i have seen from other people.
Good luck with your decision!

I am having my wedding there this October in the pulpshed. it was the first place we looked at and we booked it straight away. A bit pricey concidering you have to supply your own drinks but worth it i reckon!
