Overview

Housed in a 1900s heritage building with Victorian charm, the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows almost bring the garden's lush ferns, palms and majestic 100-year-old London plane trees indoors.

The Botanic Gardens Restaurant is a functions specialist and can provide a tailored package to meet individual needs. Minimum numbers of 80 applies to sit down menus, or an equivalent minimum spend of $8500, for all functions from September through to May (inclusive). Minimum numbers of 60 applies to sit down menus, or an equivalent minimum spend of $6500 for all functions during June, July, and August.

An innovative menu of contemporary cuisine showcases the abundance, freshness and variety of South Australia's regional produce - from the vineyards, to the olive groves, to the sea.

"Dave and I married on 21st Nov 2009. We organised to host our wedding reception at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens Restaurant. Initially, we had some concerns, but as soon as Blanco took over the business, it was clear sailing! Everything was perfect! The service was fantastic. The details were taken care of (and I was a very organised bride, with alot of personalisation going into each place setting and guess present). The food was INCREDIBLE. I had the nicest meal I've ever eaten for my wedding meal (and I've been to quite a few posh restaurants!) I don't drink, but I was told by several of my wine loving relatives, that the wine was simply beautiful! The way the restaurant looked when I walked in took my breath away. The waiter's were very lovely, and did an amazing job. So, as you can probably tell by my gushing, I would highly recommend the Adelaide Botanical Gardens Restaurant for your wedding, or any other function. Thankyou again for the bottom of my heart!"
